| Description: | Teens, join Park Biologist Paul Pira to participate in natural resource projects using scientific tools like electroshocking equipment, wildlife camera and microscope in remote stream, wetland and forest habitats seldom seen by park visitors. Program is outdoors and includes slippery stream bottoms, steep grades, off-trail obstacles like downed trees and stream crossings. Please wear sturdy shoes that will provide traction on and off trail and can get wet. Dress appropriately for the weather. Waivers and other details will be sent when registration is complete. Camp waiver required for each participant. Participants will bring lunch, water and raincoat in a backpack for day's activities. Equipment use is included in registration fee. Scholarship sources are available. Please call for details. |
