| Description: | This is the third of four visits to the Hyde property to see it in its summer wardrobe. A variety of habitats provide an opportunity to explore and observe the seasonal changes in the plant and animal life that call this area home. There are no trails but the terrain is fairly flat and open. There is potential for wet spots and poison ivy so sturdy hiking shoes/boots are recommended (no flip-flops). Dress for the weather and pack a lunch. We will leave from The West Woods at 9:30 AM and return by 1 PM. |
