Description: In the 1880's, two scientists in Cleveland tried an experiment that completely changed our view of the universe. Albert Michelson's invention is still causing a stir; in 2016, the LIGO experiment used his design to measure gravitational waves from colliding black holes! Here's your chance to put on your safety goggles, play with lasers, and re-create the Michelson-Morley experiment at Observatory Park! This program will be followed by night-sky viewing if conditions permit.
