| Description: | Challenge yourself and your horse on a series of natural trail obstacles and nature questions along park trails. Awards in youth and adult divisions. HELMETS RECOMMENDED. Participants trailer their horses to Headwaters Park’s Rt. 608 Trailer Parking Area to meet a naturalist and volunteers. Anticipate hills, gravel, bridge and stream crossings on this trail. Participants will be assigned departure times in order of registration, riders will ride out individually or in pairs at a leisurely pace since time is not a factor in this event. RIDERS WILL COMPLETE CHALLENGE COURSE IN ONE OR TWO HOURS and once finished may then ride trails on their own. Bring a shovel to clean up after your horse in the parking lot. Also, please let us know if you intend to cancel in consideration for the waiting list. |
