Description: Bring your bike and enjoy a leisurely bike ride to Claridon-Troy Road, where we will explore (on foot) preserved property bordering the trail in search of dragons and damsels. Those aerial insect acrobats, the dragonflies and damselflies, will be our focus as we explore the ponds and wetlands of the Hyde Preserve. Nets will be provided on site. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants (no flip-flops). Other optional things to bring: water, camera, binoculars, sunscreen. Return to Headwaters Park at your own pace. Ten miles round trip.
Accessibility: Partially Wheelchair / Stroller Accessible
Maple Highlands Trail is accessible, but not the preserve property.
