| Description: | Bring your own horse for this naturalist-led, more vigorous walk, trot and canter afternoon trail ride. Enjoy the meadow flowers and autumn woodlands from a seat in the saddle. Ride includes stream crossings, hills, bridges, gravel, great company, scenic vistas and a wonderful time, plus natural history lore so that horse and rider may more fully enjoy their future rides through woodland and field. More leisurely ride held in the morning. Participants may register for one or both trail rides with a lunch break between. Trailer horses to the Lake Side Parking Area. HELMETS RECOMMENDED. Bring a shovel to clean up after your horse in the parking lot. Please let us know if you intend to cancel, in consideration for waiting list. |
