Description: | Take an imaginary 1900s trolley trip to Geauga County’s vacation spots and tourist stops. As Cleveland’s metropolis grew with industry and immigration, people sought respite from the grime and grind of city life by retreating to Geauga's scenic rock outcroppings and tranquil natural lakes. Illustrated with photographs and vintage postcards, this nostalgic tour follows a Cleveland family to the once-upon-a-time resorts at Little Mountain, Chester Caves, Bass Lake and Punderson Lake as well as Chardon, Burton and The Great Geauga County Fair. |
