Description: |
"Cloud chambers" are devices that let you see traces of high-energy particles. With just a jar, some rubbing alcohol, a bit of dry ice, and some ingenuity, you can build your own cosmic-ray detector! Everyone will receive a set of take-home instructions on how to assemble your own cloud chamber. You'll also get to try your hand at assembling one and using it to search for cosmic rays. |
