Description: | The Maple Highlands Trail corridor, with its woodlands and wetlands, provides nice bat habitat. Bring your bike and enjoy a leisurely 10-mile ride from Mountain Run Station to Stillwell Road and back. As evening descends, stops will be made at various locations and a bat detector device will be used to identify bat species that are in flight by amplifying the frequency of their echo-location signals. Program will be cancelled in the event of rain. CONNECT with Activity in June! You've been cramped up all winter, but now the weather's reliably warmer. This program shouts "get out, get out, get out, and get active!" |
