| Description: | Bring your own horse for this leisurely autumn, Amish-country ride on the bike and buggy path that includes two covered bridges. This 6-7 mile ride on the new Maple Highlands Trail South provides a peaceful tour of parks, farms and villages Road crossings, gravel, bridge, possibly bikes and/or buggies may be anticipated. Helmets encouraged. Following the ride stay for the costume contest. Riders are encouraged to dress themselves and their horses in costumes for a contest in celebration of the season! Prizes courtesy of Geauga Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council. Please bring a shovel to clean up after your horse in the parking lot. Registration is limited. Please let us know if you must cancel in consideration for the waiting list. |
