Description: | Ohio contains a rich record of the first humans to enter post-glacial Ohio. Over fifty years of archaeology has pieced together Paleoindian lifeways dating to more than 13,000 years ago. As part of the 'Day with Ice Age Ohioans' event, Cleveland Museum of Natural History Archaeologist Dr. Brian Redmond provides an overview of discoveries and describes some key sites, rare artifact finds, and amazingly preserved fossil remains of butchered animals. |
