Camping fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

There is no car/truck/van access to this site. You must pack-in/pack-out all supplies. We recommend bringing a small wagon to transport items to your campsite.

This site contains one 10' X 10' tent pad which typically accommodates up to 4 people. Tent must be placed on the tent pad and not on the surrounding ground.

A fire ring with a grill is provided at this site. Campers must bring their own charcoal and supplies.

Campers must bring their own firewood and supplies.
*Please do not bring firewood from outside Ohio. Campers are encouraged to bring/purchase firewood from local sources close to the park.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Vault-style restrooms are available near the parking lot. There is no running water in the restrooms. Campers are encouraged to bring their own water for drinking and sanitation.

Trash receptacles are not provided at the campsite area to avoid attracting animals. Campers must pack-out their trash.

Camping at The West Woods will afford you a personal connection to the park's beautiful natural resources. This campground provides primitive camping on tent pads.

Camping is allowed by permit only for a maximum of five (5) nights. Persons under 18 years of age will not be issued a permit.

DURING THE WINTER SEASON, CAMP ACCESS TRAILS WILL NOT BE PLOWED/CLEARED. IF YOU ELECT TO DO WINTER CAMPING, PLEASE BE AWARE YOU WILL NEED TO PACK IN YOUR GEAR FROM THE PARKING LOT.
