Description: | This presentation is an overview of the completed Galileo mission, an unmanned interplanetary probe of the planet Jupiter. The accomplishments of the mission, preparations for launch, and an overview of the extended mission at Jupiter will be covered. The roles of northeast Ohio’s NASA Glenn Research Center and that of the presenter vis-a-vis the mission will be discussed. Designed for grades 6-12, but anyone can join.
