Description: | 30 years ago, Earth got its first glimpse of a tremendous explosion in a nearby galaxy. We'll explore how Ohio astronomers were involved in every stage of this historic event. If weather conditions permit, this program will be followed by night sky viewing until 11 PM. |
Accessibility: | Partially Wheelchair / Stroller Accessible The indoor presentation portion of this evening's program is fully-accessible. However, the telescopes used for night-sky viewing after the program are only partially accessible. We will provide several easily-accessed, portable telescopes; however, the 25" Oberle telescope can only be used by climbing a ladder. If there's anything we can do to help you participate in tonight's program, please email Chris Mentrek at cmentrek@geaugaparkdistrict.org |
