Description: For the first time under National Rifle Association certification, Geauga Park District’s Ranger Department is offering a Wild Turkey clinic for beginning hunters. Students of any age will be permitted and need not have a current hunting license to attend, but all must take a hunter education class and obtain a current hunting license in order to actually hunt. Three rangers earned certificates last summer to teach clinics sponsored by the National Rifle Association using updated training manuals supported by the highly acclaimed NRA Hunter Skills Series books. These clinics’ focus is on the animals and their habitats, the goal being to make attendees more effective hunters.
