Description: Adults, join naturalists on this day-long exploration as we paddle our way along the Grand River, home to a wondrous variety of birds, dragonflies, reptiles and other critters. Entry and exit to the river is challenging. Bring a lunch, snacks and a water bottle in a waterproof bag, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent. Kayaks provided, but must have previous kayak experience. This is an out and back kayak paddling both against the current and with the current. Entry and exit to the river are challenging. Participants will meet at The West Woods Nature Center and be transported by park van to and from the kayak launch site. Adults only.
