Description: | Attend the third meeting of our new club! Learn all about telescopes and make your own working optical instrument with the guidance of Martin Mullet of the Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society. Also learn about the library’s new telescope lending program and some basics on how to use a telescope to view the moons of Jupiter and rings of Saturn! Followed by a parking lot star party, weather permitting. Registration required on Geauga County Public Library’s website. Prospective members may login to Meetup.com to find the dates and times of future lectures and activities. |
