Description: Work toward the Bird Study Merit Badge requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (start), 6 (partial) & 7 as part of the Annual Backyard Bird Count. We'll review birding basics, including binoculars, field guides and bird ID. Bring your own Bird Study Merit Badge Worksheets and Blue Cards. A merit badge counselor will be on site to sign requirements. To complete the badge, you must employ the skills learned at the program and complete a bird study on your own afterwards, then you may call the counselor to finish the badge. Registration required by phone only at 440-279-0880. To maximize attendance and minimize no-shows, there is a limit of 4 registrations per person.
Accessibility: Partially Wheelchair / Stroller Accessible
Much of program will be indoors, but group may go outside on the trails for in depth bird watching.

Please call Geauga Park District to Register.
