| Description: | CANCELLED: Sap's-a-Risin' has been cancelled this year. In its place, however, please stay tuned to www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/activity/special-events-art-shows for some great alternative maple sugaring-themed programs to be announced in the coming weeks! For more information on Geauga Park District’s response to the coronavirus, visit www.geaugaparkdistrict.org/coronavirus-your-parks. *** Register and visit Geauga Park District’s sugarhouse and sugarbush for a new spin on a traditional program! Everyone in attendance must register for the program. We'll gather sap in the sugarbush with a horse-drawn sap sled, experience the tapping, gathering and boiling methods used through history, see sap boiling in the sugarhouse, taste some maple syrup and purchase some maple treats! Registered persons can drop in anytime between 12-4PM. Social distancing will be observed. Face coverings are strongly recommended outdoors and required in the sugarhouse. Registration required. |
