| Description: | Venture off-trail in the greenery of hemlock-cloaked ravines surrounded by ridges topped with mature forests of beech and maple trees, searching for evidence of wildlife such as deer, turkey and fox. Rugged hike with slippery, wet and muddy conditions in rugged terrain, so hikers should be physically capable of several miles of off-trail challenges. Participants should wear boots or shoes with good traction that can get wet, snowy and muddy. Please dress for the weather! Registration required. |
