| Description: | Explore the magnificent Thompson Ledges on primitive trails through oak and hemlock forests with the possibility of icicles in the ledges. Hikers must be capable of traveling several miles through rocky, uneven terrain with some steep slopes. Dress for the weather with sturdy footwear. Walking sticks and traction enhancers like Yaktrax recommended. Registration required. |
