Description: Take a backcountry hike and enter the Chagrin River to catch and identify stonefly larvae, water pennies and other invertebrates as well as rainbow darters and stream fish as indicators of stream water quality as determined by ODNR's Scenic Rivers Program. Dress for the weather with sturdy, hiking footwear that can get wet in possible knee-deep water. Participants will park vehicles at a Chesterland location; directions will be provided to those who are registered. Registration required.
