| Waiver Required: | All participants are required to turn in a
waiver for participating in this program. Please bring the completed

| Description: | Take a strenuous off-trail hike into a rocky woodland ravine to discover deep rock ledges, cool streams, salamanders and other unique features. Participants must be able to hike 2 miles without assistance off-trail in rugged terrain including slippery stream bottoms, steep grades and obstacles such as boulders, downed trees, poison ivy and thorn bushes. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes with good traction that can also get wet since the stream is our "trail." Bring a walking stick or we will provide you with one. Yaktrax or similar cleats may be advisable based on slippery conditions. Held rain or shine. Registration required; a waiver must also be completed. Please no unregistered guests - we cannot accommodate additional people. And these are very popular programs, so please call to cancel if you cannot attend in consideration for the waiting list.
