| Description: | Take a strenuous off-trail hike into a rocky woodland ravine to discover rock ledges, cool streams, and unique plants and animals. Must be able to hike 2 miles without assistance off-trail in rugged terrain including slippery stream bottoms, steep grades and obstacles. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes with good traction. Bring a walking stick or we will provide one. Yaktrax or similar cleats may be advisable based on slippery conditions. Held rain or shine. Please no unregistered guests; we cannot accommodate additional people. These are very popular programs, so please call to cancel if you cannot attend in consideration for the waiting list. Registration required. |
