| Description: | Jump in our van to explore a recently acquired park property. We'll make a list of what kinds of spring things call the area home--birds, wildflowers, amphibians, aquatic invertebrates are all possibilities. Terrain varies from relatively flat gravel drives to off-trail steep ravines. Participants must be able to walk at least 3 miles and willing to descend/ascend ravine to check out a nice accessible area of Bates Creek. Please note there are no restroom facilities at this site. Registration required. |
