Description: Join the Ohio Chapter of the Native Fish Coalition (NFC) and Geauga Park District for this neat stream sampling event. Together we’ll learn lots about the native fish in our beautiful state and how to identify them, and experience various stream-sampling techniques. Dress to get wet, and bring waders and rubber gloves if you have them, as they will be required for the electrofishing session; other equipment will be provided to those who register. Bring drinking water. Participants are invited bring lunch to enjoy onsite between the morning and afternoon sessions. Directions to the site will be provided to those who register. Registration required.
