| Description: | Take a strenuous off-trail early autumn hike with a spectacular view across the Chagrin Valley. This hike visits the Mayer Preserve, discovering wildlife and exploring habitat while learning the importance of protected lands for ensuring biodiversity. Plan to hike over rugged terrain including hills, ravines, obstacles like logs, stream crossings and other challenges. Program will be held rain or shine, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes that can provide traction but can get wet and muddy. Directions will be sent before program to those who have registered. Registration required. |
