| Description: | Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a bird sit. What is a bird sit? It is a bird survey done from a single location for a period of time on one day. Come anytime between 6:30am and 11:30am and sit on the covered bridge over the river with a naturalist. Spend as much or as little time as you'd like. We'll record all the birds we see or hear in the time period. Bring a chair and relax with binoculars, a camera, and whatever you need to be comfortable. Dress for the weather. Program will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or storms (check our social media). No registration required. |
