| Description: | Families with children ages 8 and up, learn the basics of using a compass, then venture out in the woods to practice! Held rain or shine, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes with good traction. Adult must attend with child and must have the ability to walk without assistance off-trail in rugged terrain and up to 3 miles. Registration required for all participants. Not wheelchair/stroller accessible. |
