| Description: | Take an off-trail hike into rugged, wet woodland ravines to enjoy native spring wildflowers and view the invasive, aggressive lesser celandine that threatens to choke out the native flowers. (Note: indoor informational meeting before the hike - please register separately for that program if interested.) Hike will be on potentially wet terrain; must be physically capable of several miles of on and off-trail hiking with some steep slopes. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots or shoes with good traction that can get wet/muddy. Walking stick recommended. Registration required. |
