Description: | Join Cleveland Metroparks and Geauga Park District staff and NOWCorps members to learn about the invasive plant, garlic mustard. We will begin with an overview of the area and garlic mustard identification before walking to the Cleveland Metroparks bridle trail intersecting Holbrook Hollows and South Chagrin Reservation to pull garlic mustard. Prepare for a walk of about .25 miles from the Franklin marsh pavilion to the bridle trail, including a walk along Franklin Rd. for about 300 feet. Sturdy footwear is required and work gloves are highly recommended; staff will have some extra pairs to give out. Staff will provide garbage bags. Uneven surfaces may be encountered. Registration required. |
