Description: Hike with a naturalist to help collect Monarch eggs from milkweed plants, which will be reared and eventually displayed as adult butterflies at The Great Geauga County Fair. Hike will be up to 2 miles on rolling terrain and will be held rain or shine. Hike will be mostly on trail but we will need to go off trail a bit at some points to search for eggs in the milkweed patches. Long pants recommended! Registration required *Per park rules and regulations, harvesting of monarch eggs and caterpillars for personal use is not permitted.
