Description: | Join the Ohio Chapter of the Native Fish Coalition (NFC) and Geauga Park District for this neat stream sampling event. Be prepared to get wet and learn from experts about stream ecology and how to identify our native fishes and to hear stories about their hidden lives. We'll also experience various stream-sampling techniques. Please bring waders and rubber gloves if you have them, as they will be required for the electrofishing session, and bring water to drink; other equipment will be provided to those who register. Participants may also choose to bring a lunch to enjoy onsite at noon before or after their session. Directions to the site will be provided to those who register. Registration required. |
